CURRICULUM VITAE
Dr. Tian, Ph.D got her PhD degree from the School of Psychology of Beijing Normal University. She was supported by the government to study at the University of South Carolina. She is currently the doctoral supervisor and the director of the Department of Applied Psychology, School of Psychology, South China Normal University.
Academic Research: Personality and Social Psychology. Research interests include positive psychology (happiness psychology, students’ subjective well-being in school), female (bisexual) psychology, occupational health psychology, human resources and management psychology. She has presided over 2 national projects and a number of provincial and municipal projects. She has published more than 70 academic papers by the first author or correspondent author in domestic and international psychological professional journals. She had been funded by the World Bank's Young Scholars Support Program.

FIELD OF RESEARCH
Dr. Tian’s research interests include school-based child and youth development, positive organizational behavior, female psychology, and health promotion. The main research field of Dr. Tian and her team is Student’s Subjective Well-Being in School. Dr. Tian and her team originally developed a series of measure instruments to promote this area of inquiry in China, such as: Elementary School Students’ Subjective Well-Being in School Scale (ESSSWBS), Adolescents’ Subjective Well-Being in School Scale (ASWBSS), Brief Students’ Subjective Well-Being in School Scale (BASWBSS), and Students’ Basic Psychological Needs at School Scale (SBPNSS). Her research team is currently focusing on the influencing factors and mechanisms of student’s mental health.
