Ming Liu, a doctoral supervisor, is the convener of psychology discipline of the State Council, the former president of South China Normal University, and the dean of the Institute for Brain Research and Rehabilitation. He once studied in Chiba University and University of Tsukuba, mainly engaging in cognitive psychology and the foundation and application research of neuroscience.
