The main research topics
1.The study of language cognition and text reading. In the research of text reading, he integrated the constructivism theory of international text reading, the theory of minimum hypothesis and the theory of text processing based on memory, and formed the double processing theory of text reading, which was totally original and had the important influence at home and abroad.
2.The study of social cognition and its brain mechanism. He adopted EEG and MRI techniques to investigate the neural mechanism of beauty, and found the shared brain activity for external beauty and taste beauty. He also found external beauty rely on the same neural mechanisms as internal beauty.
3. The study of learning cognition and the cultivation of innovation ability. In the study of learning theory, he was guided by the practice view of Marxism to carry out a series of high level experimental research based on summarizing and analyzing the limitation of learning theory at home and abroad, and formed the original theory of learning double mechanism.
