                     (In Search of Biomarkers of Cognitive Deficits in Neurodegenerative Disorders)

讲座内容简介：Neurodegenerative disorders are posing a larger amount of challenge to public health burden than ever. A set of electrophysiological markers of attentional processes, semantic processing, and verbal memory have been extensively tested for several neurodegenerative diseases including fragile X-associated tremor/ataxia syndrome (FXTAS), Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and Parkinson’s Disease (PD). In this presentation, electrophysiological, neurological testing, and/or genetic findings regarding cognitive deficits as well as treatment effects from a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial will be reviewed. Overall, the results demonstrated that well-designed cognitive ERP/EEG tests can offer sensitive means to detect those subtle cognitive impairments and intervention effects may not be evident in standard behavioral or clinical assessments. Functional MRI (fMRI) findings in AD and MCI using the similar word repetition paradigm will also be discussed.

主讲人简介：杨锦陈博士，本科毕业于华东师范大学心理系，于中科院心理所获得博士学位，后在美国加州大学旧金山分校和戴维斯分校从事博士后研究多年。其已以第一或通讯作者在国际顶尖学术期刊发表论文多篇， 例如， Annals of Neurology (IF=11.91)， Cerebral Cortex (IF=8.31)和Neuropsychopharmacology (IF=7.83)，等。他还担任国际期刊Journal of Psychophysiology（IF=1.425）的副主编。
