讲座内容简介： In recent years, a great number of theories and findings on cognitive control have been proposed. In this talk, I identify two core themes across this broad body of work. First, cognitive control concerns the (hierarchically higher) control of (lower-level) controllers, such as vision or motor control. Second, the same operation and optimization principles used for training lower-level controllers can be used to train the (hierarchically higher) cognitive control system also. I will illustrate several recent applications of these two principles with studies from my and other research groups.

主讲人简介：Prof. Dr. Tom Verguts，于比利时鲁汶大学获得博士学位，后在比利时根特大学实验心理学系任教多年，现为该系正教授。其当前研究兴趣主要集中在：心理学计算模型和认知控制。其已在国际心理学和神经科学学术期刊上发表论文100多篇。
