主讲人简介:马燚娜,北京师范大学教授,认知神经科学与学习国家重点实验室、IDG/麦戈文脑科学研究院PI,北脑研究中心-北脑学者。于复旦大学、北京大学获理学学士和博士学位。在达特茅斯学院、约翰霍普金斯大学从事博士后研究。马燚娜课题组的研究主要结合认知测试、行为决策计算建模、颅内脑电记录等多种技术,来理解动态交互过程中人际和群体社会决策的神经生物学机制。研究工作获得国自然基金委杰青、重点、优青、科技部脑计划等项目的资助。研究工作发表在Nat Neurosci, Nat Hum Behav, Neuron, Nat Commu, PNAS, PLOS Biology, Mol Psychiatry, Brain, Trends Cogn Sci等国际学术期刊。课题组网站:https://mylab.bnu.edu.cn/。
讲座内容:Human society operates on large-scale cooperation, but individual variations in cooperation and incentives to free-riding on others’ cooperation make large-scale cooperation fragile. In this talk, I will present three lines of research to illustrate our understanding of the emergence of large-scale cooperation. I’ll first discuss how we integrate computational modeling with functional MRI to investigate the neural representation of interpersonal cooperation. Then I’ll introduce studies examining the neurobiological mechanisms underlying intergroup and network cooperation. Finally, I will share our recent project that decomposed two essential motives for cooperation and their neural coding. Taken together, I'd like to share my understanding of social cooperation from an interactive and dynamic perspective.
