目前获得国家自然科学基金资助，采用行为实验技术、认知神经科学技术（脑电、核磁共振、经颅磁刺激、经颅电刺激）开展以下两方面为主的研究：1）基础与应用相关研究课题，人的智能（语言、情绪道德、一般认知机制等等）能否通过认知训练、TMS/TDCS刺激来促进？不同人群（老人与小孩，不同学习类型）是否需要不同的促进训练方案？近期主要关注认知训练对正常人群智力提升的积极作用及其机制。2）基础研究课题：语义整合与一般认知控制关系的神经机制；认知老化的神经基础。
